Upper Dolpo trek is one of the popular, restricted trekking trails in Nepal. Dolpo is the traditional Tibetan name for an enormous area of Nepal immediately north of Dhaulagiri Himal. Upper Dolpo trekking offers beautiful Himalayan views, lush valleys, beautiful landscape like little Tibet makes it is more popular trekking trail in Nepal even it is remote trekking route of Nepal. Trekking the far, northern reaches of Upper Dolpo unveils a land of unparalleled beauty and splendor. Geographically and culturally similar to the neighboring region of Mustang, Upper Dolpa's unique desert/mountain terrain is home to many famous Buddhist gumbas, including Shey Gumba found at a breathtaking 4200meters. Heading northwest from Jomsom your trek crosses into this restricted area at Kagbeni and continues through to Ring- Mo Lake (3600m) in Shey Phoksumdo National Park.On route, you can relax in natural hot springs, explore ancient caves and keep a watchful eye out for Blue sheep and the exotic snow leopard. Upper Dolpa's pristine grandeur and rich history offer the adventurous trekker a destination beyond compare.

Trekking in Dolpo offers a real adventure, in a remote, unspoiled. Part of Nepal that has remained largely untracked and unexplored, our trek begins with a flight to Jumla via Nepalgunj. The first part of trek is not difficult and provides delightful walking before joining ancient trade routes and the steep ascent to cross the Kagmara La (5225m0, our entrance to upper Dolpo. The scenery begins to change with the hills becoming shades of red, brown and gray. Eventually you can hear prayer flag fluttering at the top of the pass, and the view opens up dramatically looking east towards the snow peaks of the kanjiroba Himal and the five peaks of Dhaulagiri. We soon walk through the pleasant green pastures to the beautiful Phoksundo (Rigmo) lake. The scenery is outstanding with the deep blue waters of the lake contrasting with the weathered red and brown hills. We cross over two high passes, the Bag La (5182m) and the Numa La (5148m). From the Numa La descend into the Tarap valley to the village of Dho Tarap. Our adventurous journeys finally comes to and end at Juphal with an easy two days walk following the Bheri River to the small airstrip at Juphal and we fly back to Kathmandu via Nepalgunj or upper dolpo can make from Nepalgunj and finish at Jomsom. Upper Dolpo Trekking Itierary

Day 01: Arrival in kathmandu 1334m, Himalaya Journey Treks & Expedition's representative will transfer to hotel , Upper Dolpo trekking briefing with officially arrangements. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 02: After breakfast, our tour guide will take to you for historical monuments sightseeing around kathmandu valley such as Bhkatapur, pasupatinath, Boudhhanath, kathmandu durbar square & Swaymbhunath(monkey temple) and prepare for the Upper Dolpa trekking because this day is required to make Upper Dolpa special trekking permit with original passport. Overnight at kathmandu.
Day 03: Drive to Nepalgunj - hotel.
Day 04: Fly to Juphal (Dopla) Camp in Dunai
Day 05: Dunai - Hankhe
Day 06: Hankhe - Reiji
Day 07: Reiji - Phoksundo Lake
Day 08: Phoksundo - Rest/explore around.
Day 09: Phoksundo Lake-Lake beach.
Day 10: Lake Beach - Mandala Camp
Day 11: Mandala Camp - Kang La pass - Shey Gompa
Day 12: Shey Gompa - Saldang pass - Namgung.
Day 13: Namgung-Yanger Gompa
Day 14: Yanger Gompa-Musi Gaon
Day 15: Musi Gaon - Lnag La - Sime Gaon
Day 16: Sime Gaon - Tinja
Day 17: Tinja - Kheng
Day 18: Kheng - Charka pass
Day 19: Charka -Yak Kharka
Day 20: Yak Kharka - Sangda pass - Sangda phedi
Day 21: Sangda phedi – Sangda
Day 22: Sangda - Phale Gaon
Day 23: Phale Gaon - Jomsom
Day 24: Fly from Jomsom - Pokhara.
Day 25: Pokhara to Kathmandu by bus or flight.
Day 26: After breakfast, Relaxing or shopping with own activities than in the evening farewell dinner in Nepalese Restaurant, overnight at Kathmandu in Hotel.
Day 27: After breakfast, Relaxing/shopping with own activities, representative of Nepal tour and trekking (P).Ltd representative will drop to Kathmandu international airport for onward destination.
